WI 5: Email to the NCCA - Skylights in Churches

I do so many gigs on the weekends, and everytime I think to myself "Why is this church so dark? Why do we have to turn the lights on in the middle of a glorious day?". I've been thinking for a while that this is showing a glaringly obvious way in which we do not live in harmony with the environment and also how we use resources unneccessarily and in unsustainable ways.

After some research... I found the National Council of Churches in Australia (NCCA) and noticed that they actually care about the environment! I felt really ignorant because I generalised church as no caring and denying human impact on the climate.... but on the website of the NCCA I was proven wrong, and I am really happy about that!

So... an idea has been brewing in my mind about skylights in churches and what a great way this would be of bringing in nature into the church, reducing impact on our planet, setting an example to communities, and also of reducing energy bills. I decided to share my idea with the NCCA. I hope to hear from them and I hope my email to them is not interpreted in a negative way. See below for my email to the NCCA....
